Pistachio Pretzel Cookies
I like the idea of shaping cookies into pretzel form...even though it's not as easy to shape as soft pretzel I made previously but it's not too difficult to deal with !
The original recipe is from creampuffsinvenice site but I adjusted the recipe a bit by reducing the sugar and adding more nut into the dough. And I'm not sure if because of more nut in the dough that makes rolling and shaping cookies more difficult than it should be... Anyway, if you couldn't be bothered ,just drop it on a baking sheet like you would do for a plain cookie ..the taste won't change, I'm sure!!

Buttermilk Pretzels

And here is what I've got..

Lemon Blueberry Buttermilk Pie
Not only the fact that I rarely make a dessert or pudding in form of pie, tart or anything like that persuaded me to give this recipe a try..but the pictures I saw from Tartelette's site also are very tempting, plus this recipe is from The Sweet Melissa Baking Book ( by Melissa Murphy) where I'm sure I can rely on !
And from what I've got..nothing I would say but it's certainly worth my time and effort ( to make a pastry dough rather than using a commercial ready-to-use pie crust). Thanks all whom it may concern..:)
Please click here to see the recipe at Tarlette's blog.

Monkey Bread
When I saw this bread for the first time at bakingbites, I was attracted by the name and its appearance and it didn't take me long before I gave it a try. Unfortunately, the first time didn't come out good (not the taste that was quite good!) and I told myself that I must give it a second try!
And this is the second time which I used a different dough that I modified from sweet buns recipe by happyhomebaking. And I was really satisfied with the result...

Chocolate cola cake with toasted coconut-almond frosting
I normally don't make a cake very often.. only when I get attracted by a recipe somehow or on a duty.. This time it happens to be both reasons ! Cola called for in the recipe made me tempted and since it's my helper's birthday..so I didn't need any more reason to give it a try, did I ??
I've got the recipe from this blog written by a woman called Patricia whom I think is another great baker/cooker and ,therefore, has made her blog is very interesting.. I have to thank her for this great recipe..all of my family liked it !!
For more details of this cake..please visit my other site by clicking the link on the title ! Hope you enjoy!

Crusty Cheese and Herb Pull-Apart Bread
This bread is more nothing than a plain white bread jazzed up with some herb and cheese..and the way it assembled and shaped made me tempted and wanna give it a try ! The recipe is from recipezaar where I sometimes head there for some good recipes!!
Cream Cheese Hamantaschen
I was inspired to make this cutie-looking cookie by the photos posted at Smitten Kitchen site. I,though, ended up using a different recipe from Epicurious..
Why?? Nothing but impatience!!...I just couldn't wait to leave butter and cream cheese reach the room temperature as stated in the (Smitten Kitchen's) recipe , so I picked this recipe up and went straight to the kitchen!
Anyway, after leaving the dough ( 6 hours for my case) in the fridge.. the two recipes are pretty much the same and I chose 3 different jams (apricot, blueberry and strawberry) as fillings.
And I've got the same problem as Smitten Kitchen..only 4 out of 12 remained its shape as before baked..the rest could no longer be called hamantaschen..lol.. (but the taste is not the case) who cares, thou? .. as far as all are consumed!!
